IT IS A SCAM!!! I should know, I feel in "love" with a cybergirl (even though I only paid for the service twice). We talked on Yahoo for over 8 months until I visited her and her boyfriend in Romania. I actually asked her to marry me which she said yes to. Long and short medical care is free here unless you WANT to go to a special clinic. Crime in Romania is very, very low. I am sincerely sorry for you and your boyfriend. I loved my Monica very much, and I thought she did too. I came to Romania anyway and now have been here for a couple of weeks (what the hell I had the plane ticket right). A visa out of Romania doesnt cost $800.oo dollars btw. Good Luck and I hope you can repair your relationship with your boyfriend in time.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME, PLEASE??????????????
I live with my boyfriend Denmark and, during a trip I had to do abroad, he started talking to some webcam girls from Romania. He had told me he knew them years ago in Denmark and continued talking for a while. When I traveled he started talking to them again...He asked me if I minded he talking to her friends there and, since I am not jelous and I trusted our relationship I said: sure...why not?
Then, one day he called me saying that one of her romenian friends had been attacked when she was coming back from an money agency ( which I later discoverd that was western union in Bucharest) and that she was severely attacked and robbed something about 800 US dollars (after a while a discovered he has sent it to her) and went to the hospital.
She disappearead for two days or something, and then he received a message at yahho message from one of her friends telling him the bad news: she was severely attacked and robbed, by two guys during the afternoon, in the light of the day (because as she explained that was a very poor part of the city and a violent one). The friend claimed she was very bad, she had broken two ribs, and she received so violent punch in the eye that she was in the verge of loosing her vision!!!!!!!
He got desperate because he felt guilty since she was there to pick up the money he has sent to her....
The only information he had about her was from this friend of her thet visited her everyday at the hospital (so she said) and said how bad she was and how much she loved him and missed him and that he should go there to pick her up and bring her to denmark...
He asked many times to see a picture of her, to talk to her, he even sent an email to the hospital she "was in" but could talk to her and the "friend" couldnt manage to get a picture of her eye...
Some days later the friend said she needed money to operate the eye because in bucharest you have to pay for it at least a little quantity. She didnt asked directly for money but insinuated many times....
Well, he could only talk to her through yahoo messanger almost 3 to 4 weeks later, when her eye was "better". At this oppportunity she appeared on the webcam with a patch on the "sick" eye because the "doctors" said she would need to use it for a while...Later on he saw her again on the cam and said her eye was still bruised or something ( in my opinion it colud be make up)
Anyway: later on when I was back in denmark i discovered a lot of western union receips and saw he was sending money to her almost every 15 days, for medicine to her father and because two weeks before the "attack" she was interned in the hospital for stomach problems...He than sent her money for medicine... In less than 2 months he sent her 500 US dollars!!
Well, later on her "friend" said she would be operated for the eye, she disappeared for a while again. I urged him to ask the friend ´s compelte name and adress and the girl´s parents address. Suddenly the internet connection inexplicably went down!!!! ( they say the connexion in romania is bad!!) and disappeared again...When the girl appeared again she said that her friend was not that a good friend, that she was trying to conquer him and she wasnt responsible if the "friend" strange behaviour...
But then she asked some money again, and my boyfriend sent her 60 US dollars!!
The strangest part, in my opinion, is that she would be traveling to denmark to spend 2 weeks with my boyfriend( when I was traveling), he had sent her flight tickets but he never knew if she did because she was attacked days before the due date to travel.
The 800 dollars she went to pick up at western union was to her to be able to enter denmark, because it seems this is the minimum wage a eastern european need to enter denmark... and she was robbed from this money...
All of this was in september...The last western union slippery I saw was dated october 1st, 60 US dollars.... He said he wouldnt do it again, that she had fooled him....he was very mad...
But last week she started talking to him again and explained that she hadnt appeared in a while because she was at the hospital and, after that, because she didnt have money to use a cyber cafe...
WHAT DO YOU THINK????????????
Some questions if you can help me:
1) Is this 800 US dollars really a pre-requisite for romanians to enter denmark? It seems that another possibility would be if he sent her an "invitation" written by the danish imigration allowing her to enter the country as long as my boyfriend could be responsible for her... Is it true??
2)Would it be possible that she could had taken the flight tickets from CIMBER AIR and sell it for someone else who could use them with a fake ID or any other scheme? Is there a possibility that she could trade with those tickets in anyway??
3) Is it true that if she needed an operation she would have to pay for it ?
4) Is is true that in Romenia there is not completely public hospitals, like it happens in the USA with the Medic Care system??
5) Is it true that webcam girls only do that because there is no other day to make money in romenia, at least not so much as they do with the webcam services??
6) Can he believe that a webcam girl that claims she studies engineer at the university has to go to cyber cafes to do her " university´s work" with her university colleagues?? Dont they have computers at the university???
Please, could you help me or send me to anyone who could??
Do you know specific forums that can help me with those questions? I just find american forums but any european forum....
