You might click on RELOCATION/PERMITS on this site for some contacts. What specifically will you be doing in Romania. I think it is a great Country with a lot of growth potential.
Also you can get a lot of information as well as make great contacts through the American Chamber of Commerce. I would recommend you join that organization, they normally offer individual memberships which are usually under $500. for a year. AmCham as it is affectionally called, can even help with permits.

No you are not the only one here. I recently moved here myself to buchuresti from the United States. I have yet to meet anyother Americans here but I hear there are about 3000 of them somewhere here. Good Luck in your practice here in romania and finding that Honda.
