With a dream success comes more easily. Dream a dream that excites you. Focus on it exclusively. Hang on to it regardless of the people who try to tear it down.

If you don’t have a dream of your own, you’ll work all your life to fulfill someone else’s dream. Dreaming costs you nothing, while not dreaming will cost you everything. Without a dream you cannot have a goal. Without a goal you’ll never take any positive action. Without any positive action, nothing will happen to bring you any closer to your dream.

Beware of DREAM TAKERS, they are everywhere. They are people who constantly tell us we cannot do things, that we should be careful not to fail. These people may be our friends, relatives, parents or teachers, or even strangers. We must be vigilant and ensure they don’t influence our thinking in any way.

Translate your dream into some easily definable short-term goal in a series of easy to accomplish steps that you can visualize. PUT YOUR GOALS IN WRITING. Put them in a place where you can refer to them every day. Do not be afraid to share them with people you trust to be supportive, to help guide you. Start talking to people about how to reach your goals. All these things make your dream and goals more real. They make your commitment real, rather then something buried in your head that you can easily forget.

Goals provide focus and direction, and with them many things that seem difficult become easy. With clear goals, the steps to your dream often seem to fall into place. Without goals, it can be impossible to decide what you need to do.

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO PAY THE PRICE.

When you have a goal, figure out what price you’ll have to pay to achieve it. Everything worthwhile has some sort of price. It may be you need to give up your time, your sporting career, your illusion of perfection, or a big salary in another career.

Decide now what you are willing to give up to achieve your goal, then pay the price and pay it without hesitation or regret.
