Does anyone know the current regulations about bringing a privately owned vehicle from the UK?

Hi Brett,
On the Parliament's website is a database with all legislations of Romania. Search on criteria "Import Taxes".
However if it's your own laptop you can bring it without paying any taxes. But only one laptop per person! It's like bringing your cellphone, walkman, mp3 player etc... Of course it's only valid if you're bringing it yourself (or someone else for that matter) - not sent through post or similar.

does anyone know the import tax for bringing a laptop into RO , i figure theres the TVA @20% but not a clue on the import duty
