THE RULES OF LIFE AND SUCCESS - PART I
A seminar series by Paul Madacsi (www.madacsi.hu)
Why are some people more successful then others?
The 1st. rule of life.
The rule of cause and effect.
In this life everything happens for a reason, or for every effect there is a cause.
The great philosopher Aristotle implied that we live in a world governed by law, not chance. His assertion was that everything happens for a reason, weather or not we know what it is. Every cause or action has an effect of some kind, weather we can see it or weather we like it or not.
This rule states that achievement, wealth, prosperity, happiness, and business success are all the direct and indirect effects or results of specific actions or causes. I other words if you can be clear about the effects or results you want, you can probably obtain them. You can study others who have achieved the same goal, and by doing what they did, you can get the same results.
Success is not a miracle, an accident, or a matter of luck. Everything happens for a reason, good or bad. When you are absolutely clear about what you want to do you only need to copy others who have achieved it before you, and you will eventually get the same results that they have.
For us, the most important interpretation of this rule is THOUGHTS ARE CAUSES AND CONDITIOND ARE EFFECTS. Your thoughts are the primary creative forces in your life, You create your entire world by the way you think. All the people and situations in your life have only the meaning you give them by the way you think about them. And when you change your thinking, you can change your life.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PRINCIPLE OF PERSONAL AND BUSINESS SUCCESS IS SIMPLE. WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK ABOUT MOST OF THE TIME.
It is not what happens to you but how you think about what happens to you that determines how you feel and react. It is not the world outside you that dictates your conditions and circumstances. It is the world inside you that creates the conditions of your life.
Life then becomes a choice and you are always free to choose. No one forces you to think, feel or act the way you do. Instead, you choose your emotions and behaviors by the way you choose to think about the world around you and about what is happening to you.
Our thoughts and feelings are continually changing. They are quickly affected by the events around us. As an example when we receive a piece of good news, our attitudes immediately brighten and we feel more positive toward everyone and everything. On the other hand, if we unexpectedly receive some bad news, we immediately become upset, angry, short-tempered, even if the news is not true or inaccurate. The bottom line is, it’s the way we interpret the event to ourselves that determines how we react.
Conclusion: HOW YOU THINK IS EVEYTHING. Always think positive, think success not failure. Be aware of negative environments. We are free to leave them whenever we choose. The choice is ours.
